Usually when something happens or I have a reason to call them. I don't call them to say "I have nothing to tell you".  I do, however , tell them they can call me anytime they want. I would say that on average I speak with my clients about once or twice a month. Some more. some less.

Weekly.  That's one of the selling points when we meet somebody and discuss listing their home.  We don't just put a sign in the yard and disappear.  We contact them weekly whether there is something going on or not.

Per my personal service  agreement, every Monday & Friday with e-mail updates. Then a call, with any "breaking news" and they are welcome to call me too, but typically they just text me agent business cards from showings, for my follow up on feedback for my Mon/Fri reports. I have found that twice per week lets them know I'm truly working for them and keeps them plenty updated; it minimizes them calling me too.
