If you like taking classes online, then do it that way. I really prefer a classroom setting.

Good luck! Getting through online hours and test is the easiest part of becoming a realtor.

I personally would go to a class where you get real life discussions. It helps when you take the State exam.

Michael,
Kaplan is well thought of (as far as I’ve ever heard) nationwide. However, I would strongly encourage you to take in person classes nights and weekends if you have to. The benefits are too numerous to write out.

In many states, a law degree saves you the trouble of taking the pre-licensing course. I'd check that out first.

I did all my licensing classes and CE online. I am a visual learner and prefer it. I had someone to go to with all my questions, too.

It is convenient doing it from the comfort of your home. Make sure that you have a resource you can tap if you have questions to ask like a proctor or real estate friend.

Love online learning, especially if it incorporates video. I learn very visually I guess.

There are many good schools and on-line Florida schools Michael. We even have our own local one her in 'the rain'. Look for Capt. Wayne Rowlett

Type in "real estate broker class+Florida".... Pick one that is geared toward broker license. I think if you are a JD you have the equivalent 2 ? years as a salesperson.
