If however you have NO PLAN, just like all of your classmates, you will soon realize you truly don't have a choice. All those "get more training" companies you will be forced towards will REQUIRE you to join.

You want to get access to the MLS in the area you practice in just to look up ALL the information about listings, do CMA's etc. Whether you have to join the actual board in your area, I don't know.
