On my websites with analyztics installed, the first couple of dozen views are bots, spiders and crawlers. I assume the same to be true on AR.

Someone is clicking on your market report and your traffic is great! You are training those in your area to check out your market reports..awesome!

Lise, it means that someone has found your post and clicked on it. Could be from a consumer searching Google. And the fact a market report has that kind of traffic is excellent.

Lisa, looks like Ronald Gombach has this more than covered. It is not uncommon for no comments on market reports.

Some will be the various search engine bots and other bots that are indexing your post or doing other things with your post.

I had to check in on this question. It's a great one and should be featured. I hit the like button for you. I've gotten some great information from the answers.

AR used to have views and clicks and changed it to just views which means your clicks. AR changed it just over a year ago. It can be from sources other than the AR community if the post is public.

I dont have a lot of confidence in the stats, always amazes me that the second you post it on facebook your number of views shoots up by at least 20.

The search engines did not rank your post that fast so it was probably not live viewers. But the search engines did find your post and when they looked at it they loaded up all the pictures on the page. On a lot of logs, which is what shows the views, every request made of a page is counted as a view and each picture gets a request. I counted at least 12 pictures on your post so the first se that found your post would have made at least 12 requests for the page which get logged as 12 views.
When counting views, divide by the number of pictures on the page and you will have a somewhat better idea.
