I can hardly be in the presence of negative people.  I have an overwhelming urge to put my hand over their mouth and I have a germ issue.

In the  Q & A  Section , I'm either serious, hopefully helpful OR attempting to be humorous ! 

Ignore them, let the comment stand so others can view their snarkiness.  On rare occasion I have been known to return snark with snark but try not to. 

I had to Google the word "snark"! 

For me it's ignore, move on, NEXT.

Don't feed the trolls... but I do enjoy feeding them.  I'm used to this from the last decade when people would be just vicious in forums.  I love a good snarky comment (heck I make them from time to time).

Driveby's I've been to Los Angeles back in the days of "don't wear red or black clothes" so I'm all too familiar with drivebys.

I have been known to delete comments which were left by SNARKY people.  If they can't be civil - they just need to sail by.

I'm pretty sure that you can just delete their answer & then they will wonder why they disappeared.

there's one beauty on this platform and the term "drive by" sounds like a perfect fix.... that's what the thought does for me!!!!!!!!!

I ignore most, it's possible someones going through a bad day & venting? I've taken on a couple people over the years, like when Sam Shueh blatantly told us that Commercial Agents were more sophisticated than Residential Realtors a few months ago, I took him on. But, most of the time, I leave it alone and figure: "duly noted; no referrals to that attitude".

So, I like that people are themselves, most are just authentic & some funny, some seem permanently angry, a few are mean. But, that's life and that's definitely Real Estate.

Why validate it by dealing with it at all?

I explain to my client that if a seller isn't cooperating before selling it will most likely be a difficult person to work with and we should avoid getting into that trap.

Move on, life is too short.

it depends.  is a drive by or snark and what kind of day I've had.  My general rule is delete it.  But sometimes I snark back.

I just ignore what sounds negative to me and move on.  I don't know personalities yet and I am just hoping they are trying to be funny.

I grumble to myself and ignore the snarks, but am not sure what a driveby is.
