Perhaps Google has not yet indexed it or has ranked it lower down.

I've found Google to be a little bit fickle.

Kelley Ward in that case, one post is rich with keywords that Google liked it and another did not!

Great job on getting a post to rank high.  Not all posts will.  In fact most will not, otherwise you would own all the pages.  Mark

Keep working at it. Not all posts rank. Watch your keywords and title. It sounds like you are off to a great start.

It has to do with content

Not all posts rank and it depends on your keywords and the competition for those same keywords. Hits and time spent on the post also help the rankings and maybe the second one just didn't get as much attention. Spread it on social media to boost it.

Kelley - Sounds like Google liked one post better than the other. Third page is actually not bad if you haven't posted too many blogs. Your other post may be way down in page ranking, depending on how popular the subject and keywords were. Keep posting and you will be able to get on page one.

Just keep posting, some will catch Googles attention others may be a little slower.

But if you have enough stuff out there you will always have something on page 1.

Kelley, you might want to start working the longtail by blogging for consumers in  your sales area into your title and body:

If you have a niche market with a certain subdivision or type of property insert that such as:  lakefront, golf course, Sooner Acres Subdivision, etc.  The more specific you are the more ready the buyer is to purchase as they have narrowed their search after months of looking.   It does take time!

As Joe the Hood said in that immortal line from American Graffiti:

                           "Remember, Rome wasn't burned in a night!"

I'd rather rank high with people who contact me because they found me "online".  Keep posting quality content on a consistent basis.

If you only have posted just two, like Barbara says you need to continuously blog. The links are constantly disappearing.   I suggest you publish your url hits see if the more popular ones will show more often.

We will buy you lunch if Owasso realtor shows up with your name on 1st page.....
