Good morning William. If someone is overpaid, it is because someone or some company is willing to pay them. I am a believe in a free enterprise system.

The ones I pay taxes to support that could be working!

Well, if they are able to be paid a lot, i'm just happy for them. I hope, I can reach  the same financial level to be called ''overpaid'':)

I can honestly say I can't think of anyone.  I don't resent anyone making money.  Would be easier to answer who I think is underpaid.  Teachers and nurses.

The CEO's of Red Cross, and other charitable organizations...Leukemia of America...

I don't mind what someone makes. If fans pay to be entertained by their favorite singer, actor or pro player it doesn't effect me or my life so who cares. What does bother me is how Congressmen are paid for life when they don't even do a good job during their terms.

You mentioned the top four and I agree; they are ALL overpaid, please add members of Congress to the list, though!

No one is over paid. Obviously whoever is paying them feels that they are worth what they are being paid.

They can all justify their pay

I immediate response was professional (prima donna) athletes. Since you mentioned CEOs of large companies, I'll throw them in too!

William - Well I think anyone who doesn't work as hard as they should for the job they are doing would be considered over paid. Some people reach a certain level, or get a contract, and then decide it is time to slack off. But, who am I to judge that.

All of those folks are earning what the market is willing to pay them, now those who depend on artificial wage hikes like those mandated by the government may just be a bit overpaid.

It sure isn't the Real Estate Agent, as many people think.

I know sometimes the public feels we are overpaid, but they have not followed us around for a week! 

Hard to say with actors, some have the star power to sell a bad movie and that is worth a lot.

I'd say politicians in general.

I am with Raymond E. Camp anyone that is gtting benefits that have the ability to work. 

There are overpaid people in many sectors. The federal government may be the leader in paying for poor performance.

I am all for prosperity, abundance & opportunities but have this one thought...What about the other guy who doesn't? Spread it around works too

Definitely some athletes. Having been on Wall St, also some traders - young kids that get high six figure bonuses on top of salaries. Justification is that their jobs could "go away" anytime.

William Feela These people feel they are paid what they are worth. If more real estate agents felt that way, they wouldn't be giving away their services.

Nobody if the market will bear it.  Some people think REALTORS® are over paid.

Not the CEO but the corporation itself.

Not the talk show host but the network selling advertising.

Not the athlete, but the NFL.

Those who have reached the pinnacle of their professional are very talented people. It is all the parasites who surround them that are overpaid.

The current President for sure, dividing the country and destroying everything from economy, defense and how we are seen across the world.

I do not worry about other people's pay . I am sure they would not get paid that much if they were not worth it. People think we are overpaid too.

I'd probably say none of them (or others) are overpaid.  It's a free market economy and people are willing to pay.

 Everybody in Congress!

SO many athletes, with the latest example being Johnny Manziel.  Millions of guaranteed dollars, and being late to work, skipping required meetings, etc.  Entitled kids being given FAR too much at too young an age....and yes, they train hard, but when that's your full time job, it's not hard to train.

Well it certainly isn't me. I really do a lot of work for free. 

It actually takes a lot to succeed as an actor. The average annual income of a SAG union actor is 52k. You are not guaranteed longevity, even if you are very talented. It is all about the fickle public. So if an actor makes a mint on a movie, I hope they invest some.
