I hate to say this but most of them live down town and party lots so maybe a $2000 in a bank account.

I would imagine that many are in negative numbers.

18 - 33 year olds? I'd say it varies greatly. It would depend on whether or not they had helicopter parents too. If they've been allowed to grow up I'm sure they're doing fine!

Conrad, the only way to know the answer to that question is to ask them. Based on what I read in the media ... it might lean toward the little to none category. I just don't like lumping people into groups. We are not one size fits all.

Conrad,
It depends. We know several wealthy millenials who created their own wealth and continue to be successful, as well as some who inherited the $$$ and have continued to grow the money...we can't paint everyone with the same brush.

Good morning Conrad. Not that much. I see it first hand, best guess would be $10,000 and in many cases, less than that.

Each millenial will be different, just like any other generation.

I would not dare generalize that age group financially.

On average I have no idea. I can only speak to my own child and the answer is not too much. She works and makes good money, but has continued to further her education without loans so she spends money on tuition and books all the time. Her 401k is pretty nice looking though.

So is this another trivia question? I have no idea and I really don't care.

My youngest kids are at the top of end of Millenials age range and I would say they have several thousand saved and continue to save. But to ask them they would say them don't have much.

Most millennials probably do not have much money in savings. My grandson is probably an exception. He saved cash to buy his BMW. He is now in the Phillipeans for a month vacation and when he returns he will save to buy his first home. We are very proud of him. Although he is younger than milennial, we are still proud. My grandson that does qualify as a milennial does not have any savings at this time.

Millennials might not have much in savings, but I think their parent's generation has a tremendous amount of wealth. Will be interesting to see how that transfers over the next 20-30 years.

From what I keep hearing and reading, not much. I wonder if it's negative. I hope not.

Conrad - Based on my daughter and her friends, I would say almost nothing. If you listen to the news, they say that is the one thing preventing millennials from buying a home (lack of savings). However, I am sure that there are others who are doing just fine with their savings. People don't like to be categorized these days.

Just from what I have read here and there. Savings are small as are their debts. Mark

Millennials?.....nada....
Millennial parents are loaded though....I work with a lot of them and gift funds are common on almost every deal...
Their biggst issue is they don't like to do any work to get a deal done...They have an app for everything except a real estate transaction...
