I am always an optimist!

Obama's last year. That about says it all for me.

I can see light at the end of the tunnel.... it all starts with new construction, and when builders are grabbing all the land they can find, and we have subdivisions coming in the near and distant future, I know the market is getting healthier.

Every day we wake up we have the opportunity to have a great day.  I do believe that 2016 will be a very good year for real estate business.   Historically, real estate business is always good during the presidential election year.

It is what you make out of it, no one is starts the year saying it will be the worst ever will be able to do well. All i can do is work as hard and adapt when the market throws a curve at you. 

Psychologically, we are programmed to hope for the future and forget the bad things in the past.

That being said, I think 2016 will be better than this year as I've been putting great plans in place for my business, and this should allow me some more time in the rest of my life, too.

I have not seen any evidence that 2016 will be any better or any worse than 2015. The same small builders in this area that didn't have much work in 2015, still don't have much work lined up for 2016.

Of course- the media told me so!  Joking!!!  I am seeing themarket do well in my city!

My new age, artsy-fartsy approach doesn't ever let me down . . .  Law of Attraction, Abundance Mentality and Attitude of Gratitude or Suzy Sunshine approach, gets me through year after year -  whatever you want to call it, it works!

A positive attitude and approach will lead to more success than negative thoughts.

I have seen the signs in my market area. There is plenty of new construction.

People are optimistic.

Very good year for what? As far as I'm concerned the jury is still out on a lot of things.

If a person is a real estate professional, according to their words,NOW is always the right time to buy or sell. ALWAYS!

Creates a credibility issue.

Some keep track of the data. That data will reveal those communities that locked owners into place. The data will reveal those communities were sufficient equity has been created allowing folks to move up.

Today, very few communities have not fully recovered and there exists years of owners who have wanted to move and now are able. Mobility rate are poised to explode, .........and the new worry will be "are we entering another housing bubble?"  It never ends.

Every day is a good day. Every year is a good year and with energy costs falling and interest rates rising things can only get better for business.

Everyone's always hopeful and optimistic in an election year!

The amount of new construction in downtown Chicago bodes well for the new year. It appears a good balance of condominiums and apartments

Our economy in Denver is still strong.  The unemployment rate is way lower than the naitonal average, inventory is low, home values are increasing in double digits.   Many national companies are bringing their companies to Denver.   And, there is the pot sales - thriving!

Michael, For us personally, we've got two new construction closings already on the books (one closing in February, the other in July) that already represent about 15% of our 2015 sales volume.  Add in the increased calls from blogging/our WP site and I've got more potential business than ever before.  2016 should at least match our sales for 2015, but more likely I expect to beat our total.

Wall Street is having a good year. Our vacation/week-end home buyers are from New York and lower (more affluent) Fairfield County. Good year on Wall Street means good bonuses, which means more spending in our area, where there are good values; we have not quite recovered.

Low mortgage interest rates are a big reason for prospective home buyers to take action.
