I have Top Producer, and need to be able to keep notes for the family, weddings, new babies, home purchase dates, etc.

Good morning Elva. Some folks swear by designations and others let them go after a period of time. CRM is like my using master inspector. Does it get me more business? – Not really

Hi Elva Branson-Lee I recommend followupboss just becuase of it's ease of use.  I think I was up and running within one hour.  Had tried top producer three times and the system was just too complicated for me.

One that has been around for a while and that I can get all of my data out of it in a usable format.

I like automated responses in mine and that they can get an IDX search. I like that I can customize them too. I like that I am immediately notified when someone makes a big change in their status.

Thanks for all of your responses. I know there is a CRM webinar coming up for AR members, and I plan to be there. However, I also know there will be one vendor pushing one platform. I ask for user advice here, because I would really like to know which features agents actually find indespensible before engaging a new CRM.  This Frugal Agent uses free or very inexpenxive aps for a lot of the functions in these responses : Trello, Realbird, Outlook, Mailchimp, etc. Plus, Georgia MLS provides a very good transaction management system, so I only need to be able to "nurture and touch" with my CRM. Still, it might be better to have everything in one ap, but only if it adds must-have features.  Your input is valuable.

Depends on the business needs, which vary by person.  For me, I use paper and excel and that suits me.  Looked into several solutions, but none were things I could see myself using at this point in time.

I successfully used Top Producer for many years. I want a complete record and an easy way to send mass email to the different kinds of contacts.

I use Outlook, not a great program but it fulfills a couple of must have criteria, 1. it is inexpensive, 2. Does not take a large investment in time to learn and fill, 3. No subscription fee.
