The company bonus is standard, and it came very late this year. I thought we weren't going to get one. Receiving it was a surprise to me. It's a nice chunk of change. 

No surprises for me but I did surprise others.

A friend who stayed with us loves Scrabble so we played a few games with an old set that was missing one "S". We had made one that was almost identical to the original as a replacement. Our friend sent us a gift of a handmade bag for all the letter tiles and inside was a small envelop saying Merry Scrabble! and it had the regulation "S" tile to complete our old set.

Nope, but holidays are not really over yet for me. We celebrate another week:)

I sure did.  My son owns a landscaping business in Fort Worth. They do more than mow yards. He started this in college and has done a great job. Anyhow... We received a Christmas card, inside was a note and diagram of the landscaping the kids are doing for our front yard.  He called and may start this week.  We had at least 2 inches of snow today that may push back the starting date.  

This was a great surprise.

I got a few surprise gifts.

All my gifts were a surprise! I don't like to know what I get in advance. But did I get one from someone I did not expect it from? No.

I did.  And my surprise gift was my second favorite.  My favorite is always my hand written love letter from my husband.

Yes, my wife ran off and became a lesbian. This happened many holidays ago, but I'm still surprised.

I did! My daughter in law made sure I had a very nice Christmas with some real surprise presents. Very sweet.

My husband surprised my daughter and I each with a special knife that opens like a switch blade, has a special attachment to cut your seatbelt off, if you are in an accident and pops a window out of a car, in case you see a child or dog in a hot car in the summer.  Don't ask me why, I think it is over-the-top in what I want to carry with me or in my car for protection. I think pepper spray might be a better alternative. 

I did, came home one day and found a special pillow.   One of my favorite lenders knows I am doing neck decompression.
