I remember when the first one came out. We saw the cover of Time Magazine in Paris and promptly bought it. We read all about it and saw it when were back home in LA. It was revolutionary filming and thinking at the time. We will probably wait for the video. A

We saw it today - LOVED IT! and had a conversation afterwards about how much we liked that Han/Leia/Luke look as old as they are.
Yes and i am going back again tomorrow.
Yes, it was such a blast from the past with many of the same themes as the first 3 movies. Very retro in all the best ways, bringing back the "oldies but goodies" actors and droids.
When I was a kid and went to the theatre to see the first Star Wars movie I didn't know anything about the characters or actors. I got to the ticket counter and 3 of the attendants started squealing, saying "OMG, it's Princess Leia!!!". I had no idea what they were talking about and they kept babbling on and asking me for an autograph. At least they didn't think I was Jabba the Hutt!
I liked it too. My son was quite disappointed though. Seems it is not the last one, more SW movies will come.
Your road has been kinder to you than the Princess Leia. I'm glad you enjoyed the movie Lise Howe !!!
No Lise, I hear it is good but not my thing. Glad you liked it.
I intend to see it but the lines have been so long. Maybe this weekend will be a good time. I hear all good things about it and some of my friends have seen it several times already.
Going tomorrow night
It's on my to do list over the next week. Maybe next Monday.
I was 12 when the original came out and I was there. I did not go see the last three (the prequil), but the contination I'm loving.
We have reservations for New Year's Day. I'm looking forward to it.
I liked it too Lise and think Hans looked better than Leia
Yes, we saw it on Christmas day and loved it!
I can't wait and hope to see it this weekend! I have heard nothing but great things about it!
Not a Star Wars or Star Trek fan, and have not seen any of them. Glad you enjoyed it!
Haven't seen it yet . The original was my wife 's and I's first date .
Last Saturday evening was my return. It did bring back a lot of memories.
Going tonight, at last!
No; haven't seen it. Don't like crowds of people out of control. We will wait for the hype nd hoopla to diminish if we ever go to see it.
I fell asleep through the first Star Wars and have no interest in seeing the second--I sleep better in my own bed (LOL). We had dinner last night with friends who saw it and said they were very disappointed (he's a film editor) and not to waste our money on it. My taste runs more to films like The Danish Girl, Suffragette, etc.
No, I haven't see it. Glad you liked it. Sorry I so crazy yesterday.
Good morning Lise. I have not seen it as yet, but will this weekend.
I have never seen any of them all the way through. I was in college on my first attempt at the movie well over 30 years ago, but too many midterms prompted a mid movie nap.
Good morning Lise. No I haven't. It is on my to do list. I am just waiting for the lines to die down.
I'm so glad to hear your review, Lise Howe . I'm also glad to hear the old characters are back. I will be watching this movie at some point, but may have to wait for it to come out on DVD.
Have not been to a movie in at least 15 years. I do watch movies sometimes on YouTube or Hulu.
Several people already "spoiled" the ending of Star Wars on Twitter and Facebook. Not that it matters to me... but quite a few people were really upset.
I didn't like it so much. No original story. Great music, great action, just felt like it was a rehash.
Not yet, but I hope to this week.
Lise, I have not yet. I was waiting to hear reviews from my friends, but only because JJ Abrams was at the helm and he had such a disrespect for Star Trek, he should have been arrested for committing crimes against humanity for "Into Darkness." I saw that on a free ticket and wanted my money back! I was cursing the screen from the very start of the movie... deep breath... relax...
Our town has a second-run budget theater and an older theater that has $5 Tuesdays, so I'll wait to see it then. So precious few movies are worth the full $20-$30 ticket price these days.
No. I have not seen the movie and do not plan to see it.
I don't have any interest in seeing that....no my kind of movie.... I like "wise guy" movies....or tear jerkers....
I haven’t seen it. I don’t go to the movie theater very often.
No and no plans to see it.
Not a fan so have no plans to see the movie; however I am happy for all the fans out there.
No - waiting on the DVD!
I have not seen it yet, would love to, just no free time and i hate lines. Maybe when things slow
I was expecting an orignal story. I mean afterall, the glaxy is a big big place
I have not seen it.
