No, you are at the same level until the end of the next year. If your production does not warrant your current split, you will reduce on Jan 1. If during the year your production exceeds previous levels you will move up.

Ours is reset on our joining the brokerage anniversary date (for us, April).  As soon as we pay off our annual bill we go from 70% to 95% the rest of the year until our next anniversary.  It's nice knowing our next closings are essentially all ours.

I don't and I left the company that did that 11 years ago. And my arrangement is pretty much what Liz and Bill Spear described. In 2015, I'd met my "contribution" level in the first month of my anniversary year in July and get 95% of all commissions (5% for franchise fee) until July 2016.

Debbie, our anniversary date is in January and we are on an 80-20 split but capped back in July so we have been on 100% since July.  The nice thing about KW is that once you hit  $3,000 in Franchise Fees (about $1.7 million in production) you are capped on that, as well. Our monthly fees average around $110, and we received over $5,000 in passive income from the owners in the form of profit share.   With Keller Williams my wife Sharon and I are considered one agent when it comes to paying the splits and franchise fees, so that is a GREAT thing as well!

All this without a single,  HAIL GARY KELLER!   ^_~

At ROG they raised to E&O and reduce the the commission split slightly.

We get the same year round.  We will actually be making more because our broker charges a monthly flat rate fee, but if you pay for 8 months in advance, you get 4 for free.  This calculates to an additional $1,000 we will make this year between my husband and I.

My broker had that when he first started.  Ended up being the top agent in the company and moved because of that scale.  His next office recruitted him and made the reset much nicer.  Eventually he went to Re/Max and got rid of the split, then opened up his own brokerage and completely eliminated it.  I have no split either for most transactions.  For ones from a specific source where we are marketing ourselves together (and splitting the marketing costs) we do a split on those.
