I googled charming victorian in seabright and your blog was on page 1 (from March). The key is to write headlines as close to both natural conversation and search terms as possible.

I think that authorship is a vestige of our past, as is trulia. The world of SEO changes so often that it may be best to ignore some of the past stuff.
I just work on posting lots of somewhat interesting stuff that is likely to be read by people, and generally google will pick it up too.
And the number one thing for an agent to work on is localism types of posts.

It sounds like the boot camp needs to be updated, and maybe Bob Stewart can take a look at that. Google doesn't do the authorship anymore. I was really excited about that and I miss that. AR is no longer owned by trulia. I hope this helps you.

Zillow sold ActiveRain shortly after it bought Trulia. Google does not prevent you from writing your own AR blog.

You have gotten the answer, but Trulia does not own AR anymore and sadly Google Authorship is no more.

We as in ActiveRain ceased to be a part of Zillow/Trulia in July. Many of the old webinars and questions and guides are out of date and hopefully are being updated.

Trulia is no longer associated with ActiveRain. Google authorship was a couple of years ago. They don't do that anymore.

No more authorship and no more Trulia. That's a downside to some online training ... it is generally not updated. I know Bob and the AR team are doing all the can, the best they can to take care of priority issues in the Rain. Not sure if updating historical training is on their radar.

Google dropped the authorship program a while ago (maybe 1-2 yrs ago).
No, AR is no longer owned by Trulia.
I think they need to update some of their info.

Google authorship is no longer effective like it used to be. I think Google changed that last summer. I'm not even sure you can do it.

Sandy Wallace ActiveRain was a part of TRULIA for a while. And to best of my knowledge, Google Authorship is not active any more.

Sandy, Trulia sold AR after being acquired by Zillow, if I've read the history books correctly. Not sure what authorship is, but it sounds like that is no longer around.
The AR team is working on new training material for next year and hopefully updating these as well.

Not sure about your first question- but yes, you can share you blog on your Google plus account.

Looks like you already have had your wuestions answered. Blogging for SEO results does require original content and be sure to use hyperlinks in your posts. Photos also help and videos with informative narrative are even better.

Late to the party on this one - but if you look under "Recent Questions" to the right, there is a question from Bob Stewart asking what video training you would like to see...

What is Bootcamp? Sounds like whatever it is, it is very out of date. I would just dive in here, we are all very helpful here!

I have Google+ authorship. I was told I needed to do this so I did. If you want to get google authorship go to google. Click on the icons on the top right until you see a pull down menu. Click on Google+ and begin making your profile.
