one domain is my name...and many other domain names pointing to it are geographic location of franklin ma....
Pacific Palisades, CA
Both name and location-based.
Based on my name. Will have city specific pages eventually. If I decide again to do those.
My main web site is my name. Too late to change it. Though, most sub-domains and my blog site are location specific.
It depends on the purpose of the website.
Some of each.
Mine is location based, just in case someday I quit the business and want to sell the website. (Thinking ahead!)
Yes My domain name is my name.
All of the above.
RealtyZap + my domain names are both - name of the city as well as my name in it.
Some domain names I have bought have town names - not yet marketing, though.
RealtyZap + I have 3,000 long tail subdomains for every neighborhood in San Diego as well as lifestyle subdomains. Like "San Diego Horse Property" San Diego Equestrian Property" ect. Then drill down from there Rancho Santa Fe, Encinitas, Poway, ect. When I first got in mortgage I owned joybender.com then I let it go thinking it was not impt. and now another agent in CA has it. I came up with luxurysocalrealty.com on my flight to move to San Diego back in 2011. I had this grandiose idea of running an internet based lead business with my own brokerage along entire socal coast. The idea was very flawed but the website remains.
