No sausage is healthy , just tasty !!!!!!!!!!!

No sausage is healthy but most turkey sausage is lower in fat than beef sausage.

Oh gosh...I don't know. I don't eat much sausage, but now you have me curious. 

I don't eat any turkey that's meant to be something else...just how many chemicals does it take to turn turkey into sausage?  I don't want to know! 

Good question!  I'm learning a lot from the answers!  I prefer turkey sausage to pork sausage, mainly because I don't eat pork, except for the God's gift to man that is bacon.  I don't recall it being brown, just a very light greyish color.  I don't buy it that often though, so I could be mistaken.  I shop at Trader Joe's to.  All of their "Trader ___" branded products are GMO free and don't use additives, etc.

I am liking meat less and less and beef especially is tasting gamier and gamier to me. Therefore I am eating less of it. I still like chicken and fresh fish.

Generally if you are wondering if a food is healthy, you already know the answer.  Probably not.

if it tastes good, it isnt healthy ... like real estate... if the deal seems to easy...something is wrong :)

There is a meat market here that has the best chicken sausage.

Never had Turkey sausage.

The spices could make it a bit brown, but it should not be super brown. Just make sure to look at the ingrediants to see if there is weird stuff in it.

I assume it has artificial or natural colours (if Canadian / British made) or colors (if American made).

The contents of sausage may be information that is not at all pleasing.

I don't know, but I like to make my own turkey sausage with organic ground turkey and a lot of spices, and a little beef stock to neutralize the gaminess. My grannies used to make their own sausage, which I'm not interested in except the seasonings.

I have no idea, I have had chicken sausage and we do like that.  I have had turkey burgers, and they have not turned brown...I am interested in knowing the answer.  A

it's probably dark meat turkey????? it's full of chemicals, so who knows.... not healthy....eat white meat turkey.... eat trimmed pork.... and lean cuts of beef (it's not as tasty as prime rib, but it's healthier)

Yes, color is always added to those mass produced. If you ever bought an organic one it is not red. 

No help here.  I am disgusted by all meats of any variety ... and do not eat them.   Do you have any idea what goes into sausage?

I don't think I have ever knowingly had turkey sausage.

Healthy or not, my choice is Jimmy Dean sage sausage.  If turkey sausage is anything like turkey bacon, it's not for me.

I would not eat it. Sausage is made up of the parts that are generally waste unless usedas sausage.
