Good morning Chris. A lot of my investment is in time. Monthly budget is about $250-$300.

Good morning Chris. My investment is not in money, it is in time, two hours per day.

Best ROI of time and money is networking in my niche and expanding sphere of influence contacts.

Hi, Chris...talk with your broker, or someone else in your office. That is a market specific question.

1. About 15% of my GCI.
2. Some lead generation sites including Realtor.com. Zillow and Trulia.
3. Working with sphere of influence is and will be the best ROI.

I spend about $300 a month on regular large postcard mailouts, $265 a month on a local magazine ad, and whatever for my web site. None of this stuff seems to work as well as it used to. I don't know what has taken their place, if anything.

Most of this year I only had my web site and some direct marketing pieces for just sold and just listed.

Roughly $500 and it is on print ads...This does not include my web site

Right now we're spending about $10-$15 a month on directly marketing ourselves. The project starts in a week, so no ROI possible yet. One deal from it will give a positive ROI though.
Other than that, door knocking around new and sold listings and some online advertising of listings ($20 or so per campaign). No ROI on those yet, but the cost is nominal (ink & paper) so one deal will pay for a couple decades of advertising. :)

Door kocking produces immediate results good or bad. Free and aerobic work out concurrently....
% not sure..... Top agents spent over 6 figures a year here.

I spend about 7% of income and some on PPC campaigns with a good return and the rest on direct mail that also has a good return for me. I also do a little print for branding purposes only, not meant to get direct leads. Just keeping my brand in front of people. Sponsorships, maps etc kind of thing.

It varies from 3-7%
Most spent on direct mailings and that is where we see our greatest ROI
