Actually there are subdivisions which are basically designed for private pilots and you keep your plane right at your home.

I suppose it's good for someone who travels a lot for their work. Maybe it would provide "door to door" service! But at the right price there's "a lid for every pot."

WE have a nice size lot, and back up to the parkway..... it was a good deal, ok taxes, and we lived in the city before this..... people love a deal

Saw a funny show with an episode similar to this.  One of the characters became a realtor (very funny story arc there) and had to sell a condo right next to a church with insanely loud bells.  She found the perfect buyers... deaf nuns!

Of course, price is always a key factor when location is bad.

That looks like the perfect scrape opportunity for a new parking lot.

Some people really like watching planes so it could work out great. Also as others have said, if the airport expands you are sure to make a great profit.

We are in a situation where the Air Force Academy changed their flight path and now there are low flying aircraft over expensive homes. Many home owners are not pleased.

If it's "just minutes away from the airport" any would be buyers would most likely be aware of the noise and extra traffic in the area. Homes are sold near air ports every day so I would list it and remark that its near the airport.

There's somebody for every home -- at the right price.

You learn the flight schedule and show the home every other time. But realistically most homes close to our airpoort are sound proofed, values are lower and some buyers actually dont mind as they get a bogger home for less money.

It's still about location. I would take the listing if it had some nice features and the sellers would price it right. I actually had a rural property close to a growing airport. It was in a subdivision with flight patterns right over the area. Priced it right and it sold. 

It is priced according to the neigborhood.

Was in Los Gatos, CA, 60 yr old with 3/1 going for $1.4M.....PA about $2.6M

Alviso on flooded zone 0.8M by sewage plant and airplane bath.

There is a price for each neighbporhood.

We have few airports in here and LAX is the biggest one. What can you do? Disclosure. Same as with freeways and busy roads. 

Perfect for frequent flyers, airline personnel, pilots, air traffic controllers and flight attendants whose hearing aids can be turned off.

I am sure that site is good for something to the right buyer, perhaps a speculator who is waiting for the next airport expansion.
