My favorite treat isn't food... but all the beautiful lights and decorations.  

A cup of cinnamon hot chocolate:) It tastes especially delicious during Christmas holidays. 

I love lots of desserts but my favorite treat growing up was peanut butter candy that my mother made.

That cute young girl that I married over thirty years ago.   I am doing my best to ignore all the other sweet things this year.

Fruitcake laced with some kind of really good rum or bourbon.

All things covered in chocolate. I love my mother in laws home made peanut butter fudge.

No a special treat that I like but one I make that everyone in my family loves. "Sweet potato pie"

Richie - I am a big fan of anything chocolate.

I make Fudge and Pop corn balls just like my mother used to do when I was little.  She passed when I was 5, but when I make them it reminds me of her.  I like tradition.  

Eggnog...it's all about the eggnog!

 Good morning Richie. My mom used to make a thinly rolled pasta that was full of cinnamon, nutmeg, nuts and other spices. I wish I still had the recipe.

My bride & I love Egg Nog Lattes & Carrot Cake served at our favorite Bookstore & Cafe: The Upstart Crow in Seaport Village, Downtown San Diego; it's our tradition to go there every Christmas and walk around.

Home made Egg Nog!

I like boiled custard, the old fashioned home cooked kind that is thick and creamy. I don't like eggnog. There is a difference.

Homemade Eggnog

Without hesitation I do not even need to think about this ... Pumpkin Pie with Whipped Cream.  Did I have any? No. Will I have any?  Likely not. It's not on my vegan diet. Boy do I remember how good it tastes and how much I love it!

Apple pie, it is a must have in the holidays.  Who I'm I kidding, its all of it.

My 'treaty' favorite is the BIG BOX OF ASSORTED CHOCOLATES required to decorate the tree. Does not need to be expensive, but $$$ makes the Christmas music merrier.

Fruit pies. One place in Oklahoma City makes them like my Mom used to do.

All things ginger....and My Mom's recipe for sour cream cashew cookies....

Coconut or fruit pies.
