I have buyers for a mobile home whose lender is insisting on the title. TN says current lien holder has to request for lost title. Current lien holder isn't interested in helping. Any suggestions?

The issue will be, once you get a duplicate, is the title will not be clear till its paid off and the new lender might not want wait or fund based on that. It could get complicated if the old lender is unwilling to help.

Check with other lenders and see how they would proceed. Or maybe the dmv can help if they kept records of mobile homes in you area. Also check with a mobile home mechanic.
