Crying helps...but only for a minute or two.

Then I kick myself in the butt -- and tell myself to stop whining and get to work.

Slow times are when you do some very serious prospecting for new clients.

When it slows down, it is time to catch up with tax stuff, web site, classes and sometimes a vacation. 

I stay focused on business so that when the market turns, I'll be well ahead of the game and make up for lost time....

If I'm having a slow time and plan a vacation, then I know I will get busy.

I use those times to do more prospecting. I have a hard time relaxing when I don't know what my next deal is!

Hi Paul S. Henderson, Realtor, Tacoma Washington  I am working on new techniques for prospecting and plan to complete the credits needed for my first 2 yrs.

I look for ways to stop the slow down and take time for more training, working on my business to refine presentations, websites, etc.

Everything except vacation.

I prospect all the time, whether busy or not.

There is a long list of things overdue. You pick one of those projects that will keep one busy.

Hey Paul I am going to say vacation! Even if its a Staycation (since I do live in Miami)

I like to use the down time to plan for the next busy time. Then the next season will be a success.

Sometimes recharging the batteries is a better choice than chasing business stuck in low gear!

Focus on more learning is the way to go.

Vacation is usually planned - and i know, I am busiest around the time I take vacation.

Train and prospect, taking a vacaton does little good to fill the pipeline.

Over the last couple of years we look ahead and plan our trips when we want to take them. Business always seems to pick up right before a planned trip no matter when it is. I just deal with it.

A little of everthing. Mostly vacation so that I'm ready for the busy times. 

None of the above Paul.  I take them when the boss wants to go.  

All of the above! Vacation to see new things, train as we can always learn something new and new usiness for the next dollar.

All of the above, plus more exercise and home projects.

I am thankful for every time during my business and try to catch up when I'm not busy with clients.

Good morning Paul. I have very few slow periods, so I have to schedule our R & R time, along with other stuff that we want and need to do.

Paul - I will typically plan and prospect for new business. Our vacations are usually planned in advance, and I never really know if I will be busy or not during that time. If not busy, I will enjoy my vacation, but if I am busy, I will work as much as I can during vacation, and coordinate everything else through my office.

I do house projects and travel.  It generally comes in winter.

Prospecting moves even higher as a priority when business is slower.

Paul, I think a little of each.  And it's a great time to take a little CE.

I think I would probably do a bit of everything you mentioned, Paul.
