I post my leases there and some personal staff for sale. Works well if people think, they get a good deal.

 We used it for all our listings until about a year ago some jerk scammed one of my listings for a rental. 

I am very aware of its successes and failures, but I don't use it much in my own marketing. Too many issues can arise. 

I know if you misspell the URL you end up where you don't want to be.

I use Craigslist on a daily basis for many reasons.

Where do you think many of the beginner investors hang out? They are not looking for broker offered listings.

I am familiar with it and have used it.  Haven't gotten anything from it yet for listings.  For my personal rentals, I've found every tenant through it.  It's not even worth posting rentals in the MLS since Craig works so well.

I am very familiar with it, I do not use it for real estate anymore just because the risk is not worth the reward. It might work for rentals, but the chance of finding a buyer for property on craigslist is very slim. Add to that the tons of spam you have to deal with and possible people running a scam using your pictures, just not worth it.

I am comfortable there, with caution, but have gotten listings from it. Sold and bought cars and boats from it. Eliminated a lot of junk posting there too.
