Mike - I would like to change the industry so only the honest, quality professional agents get the business, and the sleazy sales agents who lie and cheat would stop getting all their business.
You don't even have to be a good agent, honest, or trustworthy, to be successful in real estate. You just have to be good at BS.

I agree with Cindy Davis , and it would completely change the way we do business, which wouldn't be a bad thing!

Mike Rock Every new agent should go through an apprenticeship program before they are let loose on society.

My list of answers is too long to pick just one, Mike. Somewhere near the top are culling out the 80% of agents who really are not qualified professionals here and transforming our publlic image as REALTORS.

The amount of education needed prior to getting a license. Even if it meant people with licenses needed to take additional classes and pass tests on those. I feel many new licencees are doomed to failure not because they are not hard working,..but because they have been given absolutely no clue what needs be done to succeed. Mark

Mike, lots of minor tweaks might be of some use, but all in all I kind of like the business the way it is.

I would make it that a home can not be in the MLS unless it can be shown.
Oh yeah, there should be a minimum amout that a buyer's agent will be paid by the seller in order for it to be listed in the MLS.
