I can't get Kerry Gold Butter in Canada grrrrrr (the best butter on the planet) but I do use Coconut Oil each morning in my coffee. Try it, you'll like it!!

Michael Thornton Personally I use organic heavy cream (1 tsp) instead of butter - for the same reason - zero carbs.

I'm drinking every morning bulletproof coffee and absolutely admire the founder Dave Asprey. Now, I'm reading all I can get about healthy food and lifestyle , and I agree: we need healthy fats to be more productive and feel good.

I have not done this particular diet, but one diet I had good results with, Carb Backloading by Kiefer (a physicist), recommended having coffee with MCT oil and 10g of protein powder in the morning. The protein powder was to keep the muscles happy (essentially) while the coffee curbs your hunger cravings and the MCT oil provided fuel for your body.
I did this in the morning and sometimes had a second helping around 10. I did find it to be very effective and to keep the body in a "fat burning" mode.

Very interesting. I googled on it and will definitely try it.
From the comments left here, looks like it works. Not sure where the word diet applies to the bulletproof coffee.

I have not, I think I'll stick to just regular black coffee and a small healthy breakfast on the side.

This is the first time I hear about it, and without knowing anithing about it I am going to go ahead and guess that its a fad.

Never heard of this. Being of the 'meat and potato' type most likely will not ever know what it is. Best on giving it a run for yourself though. Mark

Never heard of it, I did though quit drinking coffee Feb 1 of this year which cleared up my heart burn and heart palpitations. Also helped not eating donuts that come with all those coffees.

I've never heard of that. I will need to check it out. (out of curiousity)
