I stopped joining groups or paying attention to the ones I had joined - there seems to be no meaning to them and people post anything they want regardless of the topics

Very few. I eliminated many because lots of the moderators have been missing from here a long time...

Too many that I never seem to post to - need to revisit and fine tune!

I just went to check --- far too many.

Although I like A+, Bartender Make It A Double, Craptacular --- most groups don't have much relevance and I rarely look for posts to read there.

With time being an issue -- I  primarily read those I follow and I try to look for new or new-to-me members I "happen" to find.  

I belong to too many and always post to my favorite 5...

I have cut that way down. The only ones I participate in is where the moderator is making sure that the posts are on the topic of the group and I find that is becoming rare.

I do not recommend groups to new members. A high percentage of them are not active. I am a member of a very small number of groups.

A few more than that, but have not been to most of them in years.

I belong to 16.  I would tell them to ook them over and join whatever interests they have.
