Yes, we have geothermal in our home.  

The unfortunate side to alternative energy for most homeowners is the cost vs. the return on investment. 

I wish I could go solar but the cost is just prohibitive when you work the numbers-doesn't make any sense.

It is such a divisive issue.  We are home to Canada's 2nd largest wind farm and it just splits the community in the Yay and Nay camps.  The same with solar roof panels - seems to be worse than politics and religion in creating arguments!

PS My husband offered up a "joke" about wind power in the bathroom but I declined to share it!

William, none yet, but I am trying to find a way to harness Willie the Labradoodle's amazing energy, especially his tail.  It ought to at least run the dishwasher!

Nothing in my home at this time.  Though I would like to get some solar panels eventually.

Not at our place.  If I were younger it'd be on my to have list.

Not yet, but for our future Las Vegas home I am thinking solar panels and a Tesla wall. 

My wife and when she is recovering..I take over. Then repeat...

No and I am in a fossil fuel state and the Governor helped push a bill to charge a tax on solar since "only rich people do that". However, there is no tax on windpower since the big utilities control that. 

In rural homes we do, that rural electric is outrageous.

I burn with wood to keep my house warm...that is about it

Our hydro grid includes electricity generated from windmills and solar power so I assume some proportion of the electricity flowing into my home includes alternative energy.

Quite frankly, I don't. But I do recycle.
