We tend to dress up the same each year for the trick or treaters - they've come to expect it and actually point out the subtle differences ie makeup or wigs changing.   Obviously, I'm a witch, my Mother is an orange witch, my husband is zombie and my brother is the priest from the Exorcist standing under a street light directing the kids.

PS  I've noticed in the past few years, the kids are taking great care in creating their own costumes.  Less and less store bought.

We don't participate in Halloween.

No idea what I'll be this year, but I always dress up to hand out candy

I won't be dressing up myself or anyone else this year. I also won't be handing out candy. The one bar we have in town does a haunted house, and it is amazing. There are three areas to the building, and they really take you on a tour. I can't believe how well done it was last year. I will be doing that again this year. 

I hear the popular choices for kids this year is going to be the minions. I bet we will be seeing lots of Mr. Trump costumes handing out candies.

We will see every imaginable costume because our neighborhood is targeted as a very productive area for trick or treating.

It is the one day of the year I do not need a costume!

One of the Granddaughters is talking a Witch; I told her I would see if her grandmothers broom with the afterburners was available for the night! OUCH!!! She heard that!

Our grandsons did not want to get dressed up last year.  This year we will see....

That they do not know is if they get dressed up they get candy.....

I never dress up.

No idea what my wife will dress her little dog in, the big dogs however do not dress up for this.
