I have a belief that everyone deserves the opportunity to own their own home, so in a way, my answer is yes.

However, not all homes are to my taste.  I do believe there is a buyer for every property, no matter it's appearance, size or price tag.

And, I believe in my ability to get the job done.

We have to believe that it is priced right for the market, otherwise the anticipated profit generation is a fizzle.

Yes, it makes it tough to sell something you do not believe is a wise buy.

Susan Emo sums up my feelings -- very good answer with one exception:  not all people should be homeowners.  There are many valid reasons why it may be best for someone to be a tenant.

"believe in" ??????

It is real, so I believe.

However, my job is not to believe but to make others vision themselves in a house in which they can flourish.

I need not believe, but my job is to assess the buyer and make their value parameters properly align with the house attributes, where ever possible.

I can be a non-believer, but I can not let that interfere with the dream of another. There is a buyer for every house.

Yes, I've put lips on pigs, and did my job. Some pigs are a challenge.

There are some listings that I like more than others. I absolutely have to feel I can sell it in order to be a good Realtor for the seller.

It helps but is not mandatory.  There is a buyer for every home (or other listing)... if it is priced right.  It's about the buyer pool, not you.   Just put it out there.

Paul S. Henderson, Realtor, Tacoma Washington I believe you do. For example, how can you sell a property you know is overpriced and won't sell. If you don't truly believe it will sell, all you will have is a listing.

I am always excited when buyers show up and like my listing whatever it is. It doesn't have to be my taste, just what the buyer is looking for. The only time I would not "believe" in my listing, is if there are hidden problems and those I don't take unless I can disclose them.

No sure what it means to believe in a listing, but I don't have to like it to sell it. I do need to believe it is salable, not grossly over-priced or saddled with too many problems to overcome.
