I have heard that Apple users have this problem a lot but have only encountered it once from a PC, hopefully it is just a temporary issue.

I noticed that when I use my phone camera, in a verticle picture, it will load sideways. I have to crop it before loading it into AR.

Portrait or vertical photographs do not load correctly. You need to have landscape or horizontal photographs to load correctly.
This is one of the inadequate features of our blog editor.
