Those that are activem stay active any day and those not so active, may wait until Monday.

No.  To me, Saturdays seem slow.  I generally have a lot to read on Sunday.  But, I'll see a bunch in am and then a lot much later in the day, as it seems that sometimes, some of the more well thoughtout articles are done on Sunday when people have time.  Some of them, though are published first thing Monday morning.

Maybe a little - everyone has other things to do in the morning 

It doesn't seem any different than other days.

I can't tell Michael.  I know I'm still at it.

They seem to be busier, everyone takes advantage of the blog post last minute!

On the contrary, I though Sundays were busier, since it is the end of the AR week.

I find on the blogging side things are slow sundays...

Sundays are usually slow on AR for me. I usually get a lot of traffic on the early week days Mon thru Wed.

The weekend in general seems slower to me.

Definitely slower... but then most things are in general.

I have not noticed any slow down in my small part of the system. 

I took yesterday off from here.  We all need a down day now and then.
