Oceanside does offer great value for beach side in CA. 

Another hidden gem for ocean view homes? San Pedro, CA in Los Angeles county. Panoramic ocean and city view homes up on hills and right on the coast. 1/2 mile to Trump golf course in Palos Verdes. Killer coastline.  Prices well below anything in Los Angeles by the beach

Perhaps there are issues there, or maybe it is the next opportunity.

Sometimes people avoid a certain locality due to excess govt interference.

We have no problem with Oceanside. Have several buyers looking there right now.

This apparently is a Calif best kept secret. Your opportunity to make a gazillion dollars. Brokers can not and do not control the market.

It's your market to dominate. Unless there is more to the story.

Look at my last blog about Palm Harbor, FL. Two offers received for a home not yet ready for market and has created 23 followers of homes for sale in the Palm Harbor University High School district. That may not seem like much, but the next Palm Harbor home I list will also sell ..... privately.

Since I am on the east coast, I don't know CA real estate well enough to pontificate on the topic - but the picture is beautiful!

Oceanside is great, the only thing I would think is a problem is it's a little bit of a drive to both San Diego and Orange County.  There's also a lot of competition in that area for beautiful places to call home...not a bad problem to have.

Oceanside is beautiful.  It seems that most people relate to the area as a Marine Base rather than ocean front.  Locally, people know it's pure beauty and homes seem to sell quickly at top dollar.  But what do I know, I'm in Valencia/Santa Clarita, California.

You may correct this with your very positive blogs about the area.
