The lender that most of my buyer choose to use to purchase their new home recently ask me, what is the best closing gift you have seen given by a vendor? So that is my questions to you!!

What is a closing gift that either you or a vendor has given to one of your clients that has been AWESOME? I responded to the question by stating that one lender had given a buyer an actual leather notbook that had all the closing documents (hardcopies) and a CD inside with extra copies for future reference. The lender took the time to include not only the loan docs but also things such as the termite inspection with contact info, the home warranty information with their contact infor, that appraisal....I really liked it and it was the best "gift" I have seen given so far.

I think that most closing gifts take away from our professionalism and make agents look desperate.

I have not given closing gifts. The best ones are those that appeal to the individual interests of person.

Daniel W. Hayes I've never seen a vendor give a closing gift. I did go to a settlement where the attorney gave my client seller a bottle of wine.
