Once, and I should have because it was criticism that was not appreciated by the entity I wrote about. Ended up deleting it later and much wiser. Now, if I can't write something positive, it doesn't get written.

Paul, I usually know my blogging head is on right or it's not.  And when it's not, the post doesn't get out of draft. 

I have only deleted one post after posting. If I think it is something I should think about,  I do just that, I leave it in draft until I have time to think on it.

in my early blogging years yes. I would sometimes post a "rant" of sorts even occasionally pointed at a consumer. I no longer do that and I took some old posts down. 

whenever I'm not in a good frame of mind, I learned NOT to write a post....it's an attitude that should never radiate online!!!!

We take a moment to review the posts we write.   If one of us writes it. we read it to the other, correct, amplify or delete sentences. etc.  We usually write them in the morning, when we are awake.  A

 Good Thursday morning Paul. I don't think that I have ever deleted a post. I have rewritten it.

Paul - I will usually leave my post in draft mode for a while if I think it might be controversial. After a few hourse, or even a day, I will review it again. If I don't feel right about it I will delete before I ever post. I also do this all the time when it comes to my comments.

There have been some posts I have written where I thought nothing of them, and then when I start reading the comments, I realize that I somehow must have offended someone. More often than not, it was completely unintentional, and not what I was going for when I wrote it. Just goes to show that people sometimes misunderstand your intent when writing.

Naw, I am pretty good about only putting out stuff I have no problem with.

I have revised a couple of blogs after posting them and then not liking my own wording. You need to be careful when posting material that will be available forever.

After it posts...it stays out there. I tweak before, not after

Paul- I haven't done tha,t but I have many posts sitting in the "unfinished"state in Google Docs. 

Paul -- I can use the line that politicians use, I've evolved on that issue.

Yes and no. A blog is not intended to be a piece of journalism, altho some seem to lose sight of that. It's a stream of conscienceness, whether or not it's intended to be professional or personal in nature. The world works better when people's opinions are pliable and change upon further introspection. That is a valuable trait that should be embraced by all, and therefore shared to set an example. Also the details that go into the before and after of a change of opinion can in-and-of-itself be very educational to others who have not yet formed an opinion on the topic. And influential to those that have.

No but I have gone back to do an edit especially when specific pricing was involved.

I have started posts and not posted them but never posted and deleted one. I would delete on instantly if it were something that I later felt was inappropriate on not worth of being blogged.

Yes, I was extremely angry once and was going to go on a political rant, then deleted becasue i did wanted to sound just like the extremists I was criticizing.
