I agree with Michael Jacobs and I try to do the "ordinary" tasks during the week when I can but I occasionally find myself in Costco on a Sat or Sunday and tell myself "never again"! 

We can do the ordinary when others cannot so I try to plan the extraordinary the same way.

Yes! Because Saturdays are for me, only touring homes & inspections; once done (or if none to do) I'm off for the day.

Sundays are dedicated "off the grid" days off with family & hiking and enjoying all San Diego has to offer...which is a treasure trove of never ending gifts! No phones, no texts, no e-mail, no clients. Just a few minutes on Active Rain and I'm off.

Saturday and Sunday are just other days for me.  I like the "flexibility"(he says with a chuckle) of life in real estate where I can sometimes escape during the week to take care of personal business/errands without as many crowds.

I agree with Michael Jacobs.  The weekends are just like any day many times, unless it is a national holiday.  We usually fit in our stuff during the week, and we take daily moments to do something special for ourselves.  It is part of our day.  A

I pretty much always combine personal and professional, and some things are better done on weekends. For example, I'm heading up to Carmel Valley tomorrow, Saturday, because I want to take photos of new wine tasting rooms and see what changes have been happening in the village. I have a very strong Carmel Valley California website that drives a lot of traffic to my real estate site. So consider it partially a business drive. At the same time, I'll take a friend along and we will enjoy lunch and a glass of wine at one of the many outdoor cafes up there.

Like Michael Jacobs and Ron and Alexandra Seigel weekends are often workdays for me. They are prime showing and listing appointment days for my clients. I love being able to head to the beach on a weekday though!

yes, to both family and by myself...  recouperating for the next week+.... haven't been to the gym in over a week.... it's brutal....

Not really. In our business you never know what a weekend can bring. I just enjoy time with family and friends when we can make it happen.

I have for many, many years worked every single weekend showing properties.  Now that I have two little grandsons I like to spend at least one day out of my weekend with my family.  I've missed many weekends with my children because I worked a lot in the days when I was raising them. 

I look forward to weekends, but I'm not sure why, since I works them too.

I usually have a full day on Saturday with buyers and sellers, and TRY very hard to take Sunday to get my personal stuff done.  

Since I have no family here it is all about me! Sometimes friends are included but I have hobbies and activities that have to be done solo.

Yes Debbie Reynolds - more towards the activities with my clients - open house, showing, appointments. I still work on weekends.....

Though I do take time off for special weekends - and sometimes work only half day on weekends.
