Heidi Kelley  - the best time to write next years goal is October or November by which you have an idea how many deals you closed from different sources for the current year - so plan you markeing accordingly. Impement - of course as soon as you can!

There really isn't much I'd do differently at this point in my career.  I believe in the "don't fix it if it is not broken" philosophy :)

I've found that too many people don't stick with what works (or is about to work) giving up a day too soon.  I work by referral only (long before the gurus proposed it!) and will continue to do so.

We start on our in late October so that we are ready to implement Jan 1.

Yes, I'm still planning on where I will be in 5 years. Next year is already in progress. 

mine is a work in continual progress....I write one in December for the next year and I make adjustments as the year progresses..... 

I usually write my business plan in December so I hit the ground running in January.  It does keep you on track.

I am adjusting my business plan all the time as it needs it.

I live the plan and it tweaks itself via being used...

I got it all in my head Heidi.  I do map out a business plan for the year.

I generally do this Nov/Dec and start to implement some of the items in December.
