I subscribe.  It is the best aggregate of the most current, interesting and in-depth real estate info I have ever found.  I may be able to find all the info FREE if I was willing to spend all day, every day looking for it.   Definitely worth the money if you want to know about trending real estate in general, and not just market specific stuff.  

Our MLS provides its members with a free subscription, so I do follow Inman. But I wouldn't pay $200/year for the information.

I have dealt with them FREE in the past.  I no longer use them on my site.  I saw no difference.

Inman is a good source and by being a member of CRS I get Inman Select as a member benefit.  We used to have several of our AR posts get picked up on Inman. I haven't seen that in a long time and wonder what changed.

Does Anyone have a free, non-company-supplied resource that is similar to inman, that you can recommend

They do have a lot of good content especially the special reports that are available to only paying members. 

Is it worth it?  For many yes,  For many more, they can probably find a better way to spend that $20/month.

We get a free subscription, so I do read the articles frequently but no, I would not pay. 

I do Inman Select. It is $50 so I get the news I need. I found that it is also free to CRS members.

I don't subscribe.  However, unlike you, I would receive 2 or 3 emails daily which I filtered to trash then unsubscribed.  Inman lets the Google bots index their articles that are behind their paywall.

I get Inman but KW paid for the subscribtion for all the agents.  If I had to pay I can say I would use $200.00 towards my market budget.

I don't, Theres too many other places with good information out there. 

I find their teaser emails annoying.  I don't mind waiting a day to find out the same information from other sources without the subscriber fee. 

I always wondered that, too.  I would have guessed that most MLS members in our area got a free subscription, as I can't imagine most of them paying that.  As a peripheral business/non-realtor, no I would not pay for that.
