Doubt it. Many windows don't even come with screens. Verify with loan officer.

Hi Wanda Kubat-Nerdin - I have never seen a specific guideline regarding screens, but as Joe Petrowsky mentioned, if it gets mentioned in an appraisal report it could raise issues with the lender, depending how badly they want to protect their own ass.

Good morning Wanda. They are not a requirement. I have seen appraisers mention missing screens in their report, it may become an issue at that point.

i dont know for sure, i have an opinion... but so does everybody else on the planet. i do know this, on new homes , we HAVE them. but we always LEAVE THEM OFF, as it shows much better

Lenders vary in their requirements but I don't know of any FHA requirement regarding screens.
