Sometimes confront, sometimes ignore.

If you are in the business for a long time, you have experienced stressful moments with other agents. Going to the broker is a last resort.

I don't bother. I go to my blog to rant and rave about their idiocy, enjoy a few good laughs, and then I get on with my life.

does the sun rise or set during the day? yes... and i have found brokers SELDOM help, in my opinion they are scared chitless of stirring ANY pot.

I get along well with others.

Depends on the situation. Certainly, it's best to resolve conflict directly, but there have been times we've gone to their broker and even times when we've gone to the Board.

All the time. I do try to work it out with the agent. Involving broker does not usually help creating relationships.

It's my understanding that an agent having problems with another agent should take the problem or complaint to his or her own broker-in-charge first.  (In NC we are all brokers; heads of offices are called brokers-in-charge.)   If the situation warrants intervention, the complaining agent's BIC will contact the other agent's BIC and the two of them will work out a solution.

You are going to need your BIC's support if things go sideways, so you mights as well  get him or her in the loop sooner rather than later.

If the agent gets it...I'm good. If not, we have to have a get together

I try to work it out with the agent and that almost always works. I am not a tattletale type person so I would only go to the broker if I couldn't get any action out of the agent.

Most of the time if this happens I try to work it out with the agent. If it's a major issue I usually have my broker handle it with the other agents broker.

Depends upon the issue.  I usually try to work it out with the Realtor, but if it is an unthical issue, or we aren't making progress, a call to the managing broker is required.  Sometimes you may have to report to the Board and file a complaint, if it gets truly ugly.
