You just found out the difference between Cash for key and evictions. Cash for key has to be left in broom swept condition and in eviction they leave behind little critters .  Your lucky its just fleas .

and I thought when I had investment properties that my tenants were piggy.... they were like Mr. Clean compared to yours...never had to call an exterminator.... I would have torched the place....

The foggers usually work. Definitely need to replace all rugs. 

They're pesky and will likely require two more bombing raids 10 days to two weeks apart to be thorough. They don't respond well to eviction notices Captain Wayne. 

Call your favorite exterminator for the best results.

Read the directions. There is a very high probaility the directions say the bomb must be applied more that one time within several weeks.

Call the folks with the REALLY TOXIC stuff to kill them in one application.

Been there and done that. If you are going to do it yourself I would "over bomb" it and in 3 days do it again.

I would get an exterminator in there asap. If the fleas are in rugs and in the grooves of hardwood flooring, I don't thing a flea bomb is going to solve the problem. If you were covered, then the fleas are probably in every crack and crevice of the house. 

The problem I found with fleas was the eggs lay dormant for a time and then hatch. You will have to hire someone to really lick the problem...

Makes me itchy thinking of it. Mow lawn short, don't use for compost, vaccuum 2-3 times and throw dust into sealed plastic bags. THEN bomb.

Air out 2 days repeat vaccuum and scrub every surface. Toss the dust again.

Bomb second time.

If the fleas return (and a few may) place old tenant flat on carpet to have their friends join them out the door, just kidding

Short of tearing out the carpet but that doesn't stop them all.

Flea bomb that will also kill the larva and eggs is what you need.

Spread Borax on all the carpeting, and leave it for a couple of days.  A

Bomb, wait prescribed period, then bomb again. Or call your exterminator, Captain. Evictions are the worst...

If they are in the yard too, I would call an exterminator eitherway just to make sure it's handled properly. It may be an investment worth making, best of luck!
