Hi Jack -- how about something very different - like face-to-face? I know - revolutionary thinking.

I watched it! 15, 20 texts sent back and forth. Pulling the car into a parking lot to fire off another text. Peeking at the response flying down the road.
I'm thinking a 3 minute conversation would have resolved it all, in less time without all the induced hazards.
Just this weekend I was thinking on the degradation of the gift of hospitality that parents have taught their kids since the introduction of the remote garage door opener.
Even real estate professional fear answering the door and meeting a stranger. This IS symptomatic of the degradation of hospitality.
It seems ironic that in a 'relationship' business, we don't really want to engage in those things essential to relating.
Give me a call I say, I actually answer my phone.

I call them rather than email or text when there's an issue to resolve or there's likely to be much back-and-forth. Text is great for a quick confirmation or update but not for discussions.

I will communicate over email and limited text but there are times we simply need to have a conversation, a discussion either in person or over the phone. I am not going to walk a client thru an entire contract via text.
