Has anyone ever had a tick bite that has given you a disease? What was your treatment and how long did it take to recover?

Two years ago. It meant two trips to the hospital in an isolation ward. I have four bags of medicine running at the same time. Doc said if I had waited two more weeks I would have been pushing up daisies.

Go to the doctor. Lymes can be mild to very serious as you know. My daughter got Lymes last year. She was lucky.

My brother got Lyme's disease when we were kids. He didn't really know until later as it showed up during a check up. He had to take pills for 6 months.

Lyme disease is just part of the game, good to get the antibiotics whenever you suspect that one of these ticks has infected you.
