I don't do open houses when I did the only thing I served was water.  I can just see major spills that I would be liable for.

I do not feed folks at an open house.

But, if I did, in my city often referred to as DoggieEden, I would offer and lable clearly, "for our four legged friends' and offer doggie treats and a bowl of water. 

Then count how many kids eat them. The one who guessed the right number gets a dinner and movie pass.

Just kidding of course.
