Depends on their level of committment. If they aren't going to be there for the client, then no. If they are actually going to work, then yes. Many retired people need the extra income and this might be one of the only options for them.

Retirees are retired.  If they are working then they are not retired.  Real estate is a costly endevour to maintain with ongoing mandatory fees so the person needs to evaluate whether he or she will make a suitable net profit in order to determine if real estate is a good second career.  Otherwise any retirement incoming cashflow would be lost.  The analysis can also be complicated by many  other factors which would vary on an individual basis.

yes and know. If you are working then you are not retired but if you need to work to enjoy your retirement then real estate could be a good 2nd career.
