The average contract I have has 20-25 pages. It can be more but usually not less.

On a typical transaction we would have the contract (9 pages), finance addendum (2 pages), and a sellers disclosure (5 pages).

Good morning Paul. I am a real estate investor and buy bank owned properties all the time, I once signed an agreement that was 32 pages. That is beyond stupid, especially for  a no contingency agreement.

CA contract changed and now it is all together: AD, DA, RPA, SA. So, it is about 17 pages+POF+PQ+ any other supplemental documents.

Paul - Our standard purchase contract has 9 pages, but there are typically addendum's and other forms included (HOA's, Market Conditions, etc). I would say on average there would be at least 13 pages.

My state contract to buy and sell is 16 pages long...could be longer depending on additional provisions. That includes the signature pages. It covers everything.

Then we also have disclosure docs for lead based paint, source of domestic water, square footage disclosure and the seller's property disclosure. Also closing instructions.
