I always used credit check Diligent Risk Services - looks like I need to do more now.
I have been reading a lot about tenant screening process and ask many other property managers how they manage this process. Now I have my own technique.
First I request application.
Then run credit and background checks.
Ask references from previous landlords.
Contact tenant employer.
Conduct an interview with tenant. Very often I ask questions that are provided here https://rentberry.com/blog/potential-tenant-interview.
We do credit and background checks.
All of the above except Financial Statements. Tenants have performed well.
