I'd say mostly what has helped me is just reading arciles on Entreprenuer.com or Business Insider free online. You'll be up on the latest marketing trends as opposed to a book that is outdated by the time it prints with Google, Facebook etc changing so often.
Real Estate specific I'd say The Millionare Real Estate Agent by Gary Keller.
