Realtors are asked by everyone for money.  Money for this that and the other.  If you can afford to do passive real estate and hire someone then thats your thing.  If you really want to know your area in depth and are seriously in this business for profit, then do it yourself.

Charles, I pen my own; but if I run across something I want to share, then I give FULL CREDIT to the author.  One of the most basic principles of being a REALTOR®, Loan Officer, or any service provider is HONESTY.

If I am setting myself forth to prospective clients as "knowledgeable, reliable, credible, and the right choice", is it ethical, professional, and honorable to do otherwise."

When we post a blog, we avow the work is our own or posted with permission.  AR Members know that, but I would think acknowledgment of the source should be publicly displayed on the page.  What do you think?

Hands down writing your own blog is the way to go.  An individual's "voice" is important when writing to the public.

Write it yourself.  The ones you buy stick out like a sore thumb because they are too perfect.  Also, the buy-a-blogs do not count for points, and someone of the AR moderators will pick it up.

Yes, write your own. Here's an idea that someone shared with me about what to write when you run out of ideas. Find an article/post about a topic you'd like to share. Then do a commentary on that article/post. Add your opinions, highlight parts that you want to expand on, etc.
