Direct Mail. It's painless.
My favorite is the airplane banner even though the cost is prohibitive and results negligible for real estate. It does get the name out there though, people generally remember seeing it.
Word of mouth ,seems to work for me .
Some on line marketing helps too ,atleast lets the phone ring ,which is so important in real estate business.

who passed out 750 business cards a mo. putting them in mail boxes (you are not allowed to do that in the USA illegal...federal offence.

Face-to-face networking because it produces the best results.
The best marketing technique is word of mouth referrals. There is nothing better than someone who can vouch for your expertise.
I have a lot of techniques that work for me. Although AR is a favorite. I love my time here and the connections I've made. I close to getting my second referral check in the last three months and AR made it so easy to find the right agent.
Face to face because my voice over a phone is not as powerful as my face in person.
