I'm on the board for my local Habitat Chapter, but I haven't done any deals for them. My broker started Habitat in my area. I let him take care of these deals. He deserves it. Lately we've brought a few foreclosures. The worst looking houses in the neighborhood. Now we have people in those house that are keeping up the yards and the houses. Isn't that great?

Yes.....we updated our kitchen and great room....they got a whole kitchen full of solid cherry cabinets and many furnishings for which they were very grateful. We have also given them money...hands on is not part of what we do at this point.
