Q & A.
Reading blogs and responding has proven to be of little benefit.
Most are too superficial and leave me feeling betrayed after spending the time.

I am seeing people on the Q & A that are not writing posts. It is a more relaxed environment because it doesn't need to be a long question or answer.

Hi Debbie -- I hadn't spent much time in the Q/A Section until recently and have participated a bit more with the March-April Cloudburst Contest where we are to ask five questions and answer ten.
My typical AR routine is: have a post published, scheduled or draft then comments and after I reach at least 20 comments, go to Q/A.

I am spending the same amount of time blogging, just on other platforms that get more traction, attract a different set of eyeballs.

I don't see making a brief reply to these questions as an obstacle to blogging or commenting.

No, but the Q & A is great for quick topics and some very relevant comments, too!

Debbie, it takes a long time to go through the blogging roll and find blogs to comment on anymore with all the roboblogs filling up entire pages. The Q/A is a welcome diversion.

I am a little confused Annette Lawrence Are you saying that reading blog posts is not working for you and Q & A is? I will tell say you write such though-provoking responses on the questions and I enjoy reading them.

Debbie, I like the Q&A. I find that the question are more relevant to us in sales type matters. I still do my post and comment.

No the Q and A section hasn't made me slow down with my posting. I visit this section when I have some extra time. This isn't my favorite part of AR.

I like the blogs more especially if it is something interesting and I can learn from them. The Q & A section can also have some valuable information and make you think.

Q&A doesnt take time away from blogs/comments, now I just spend 8 hours/day in the rain instead of my usual 4. Kidding. I start w/the blog side, and if I don't find much that interests me I'll click on the Q&A to check out this side of the rain

Since the AR changes, I answer some Q&A, but I still post and comment. I also have a WP blog.

I've just been spending less time on Active Rain overall. I used to be a prolific blogger and commenter. Now, not so much. By choice.

Debbie, I do find myself drawn to the question-and-answer section although I do search all my followers and the people that I follow on a daily basis. I think it is very simple and I really enjoyed reading people's thoughts about he questions.

Debbie- I usually don't spend much time in the Q&A section, and I suspect that many others don't as well, which is why the focus on it in this month's Cloudburst. I find a lot of it distracting. I get my post out, then try to check out the people that I follow, and head to Bananatude to help monitor that.

I'm spending time on both right now. In the past I've either focused heavily on blogging & comments or answering quesitons, usually on other sites. I'm doing a bit of both on AR now.

I am finding that there are members who used to comment on blog, but now are commenting on Q & A. Not sure about this platform...
